The power dressers- Women's wear inspired by 'Suits'.

Let's face it! We've all watched Suits and admired Harvey Specter's swag and Mike Ross' charm. What's kept us even more captivated is the power of the women in the show. Surely it also had something to do with the way they dressed. Jessica Pearson, Rachel Zane and Donna Paulsen are inspirational when it comes to fashion. Their business formals leave us wanting to upgrade our formal wardrobe and seize the power that it brings along with it.

Here's a little something we can learn from them and a few ways we can bring in their swag into our lives. Let's take a closer look.

Skirt suits

When Jessica Pearson walks into any room, you just know she's the boss. Her attitude and class stems from the confidence she gets by power dressing. Skirt suits make her stand out in any crowd. What makes it stand out is the fact that she doesn't go for regular cuts and styles. Be it a matching suit or a contrast one, the designs are all something unique and different. If not for skirt suits, the next best thing would be to pair your dress with a blazer.

Dresses

Well fitted sheath dresses are something that can be worn at any work place and suit any position. Jessica, Rachel and Donna all wear dresses and it suits them all perfectly. Just go for a little tweak in the design and you're good to go.

Formal skirts

Rachel Zane absolutely rocks her pencil skirts. When you're wearing a formal, well fitted, sheath pencil skirt, almost anything you pair with it looks formal. It could be a frilly blouse, a shirt or even cardigans and pullovers.

Pant suits

Surprisingly, none of the three wear pant suits or at least not often enough to get a good reference picture. That does not mean that pant suits are not in vogue. Here are a few pant suit trends that you must definitely try- from fitted or cigarette pants to slightly flared bell bottoms.

Women can experiment a lot when it comes to formal wear because we do have plenty of options from pants and skirts to dresses and suits. Power dress your way to work and notice the difference that it makes and the impression you create.
