COLOR COORDINATE!

Understanding color and understanding style are synonymous. Colors affect how we perceive things like emotions, thoughts. Color is one of the most integral influences in life. This fact is crucial when learning to become a stylish man. Lets learn why colour coordinating is important.

Fashion is something that expresses who we are without having to explain. Colors say as much about us as they do about how we are perceived. Implementing colour coordination in outfits can make a huge difference in the way we are perceived.

Understanding colour themes and basic colour theory.

The colour wheel is comprised of basic colours. These colours are the basic basis of every colour you could imagine.

Primary colours : Red, Blue, yellow.

Secondary colours : Green, Purple, Orange.

Associated colors
These are colours directly adjacent from each other on the wheel. Associated colours are important for monochromatic looks.

Complimentary colors
These are colours opposite to each other on the wheel.
Used together to make a noticeable contrast.
Complimentary colours are for bold , attention - grabbing looks.
For instance navy and mustard make a wonderful combination - CAN BE MISMATCHED COLORS IN SUIT  BUT THEY ARE COLORS IN COORDINATION!

Tradic colors
Tradic colors are three colours equidistant from each other. They make a balanced outfit that incorporates multiple colours. Playing with similar colour family will make a statement.
TIP : USE BOTH DARK AND LIGHT SHADES OF TRADIC COLORS TO MAKE STATEMENT!

Anologous colors
Anologous colors are three colours that reside next to each other and share a dominant colour in the middle. The dominant colour is either a primary or a secondary colour.
This is a great way to make a bold statement using the dominant colour as your fashion statement.

Men's Matching colour Theory
Now that you've gotten refreshed on the specifics of the colour wheel, there is more to learn about men's colour coordination. Each color correlates to how we as humans perceive certain things.

RED : Passion , Danger, Anger, Love

BLUE : Trust, Calm, Stability.

YELLOW : Attention, Warmth, Energy

If you are experimental you can try to choose colors such as :

GREEN : Nature, Wealth , envy

ORANGE: Youth , Attraction, Health

PURPLE : Creative, Luxury, Royalty.
