Detailing- The little things that speak volumes

Design details can go a long way. Paying attention to detail is the key to good dressing. It could be something as simple as a design variation in your collar or a monogram embroidered on your cuff but it defines you and depicts your personal style which is why more and more people are turning to customized clothing every day.

Variations in design details.
Variations in the shape and size of collars and cuffs are of course one way to go- a nip at the back of the shirt collar, the position of the notch on the lapel of your blazer or the number of buttons on the cuffs. These are probably the most opted for design variations when it comes to customized clothing but it doesn’t necessarily end there. Yokes and plackets are often not given the attention they deserve. The color of the button hole on the placket could be one of the things you change from the usual. One can also experiment with the style of the pockets on trousers, shirts and blazers. Every little detail does matter and will never go unnoticed.

Embroidered monogram.
One trend in particular which is catching on really fast is an embroidered monogram or symbol on any part of the shirt, be it the collar, cuff, yoke or pocket. Tone on tone embroidery is something that keeps it simple and classy but if you like it bold you can always go for a contrast colored thread for your monogram. The embroidery is not limited to just a monogram. It could even be a small quote that you swear by. A monogram alongside your cuff link on a French cuff shirt can really add that personal touch to power dressing.

Printed linings.
The inside of your blazer says a lot about you and what’s more, you can keep what you love close to your heart- literally! Colorful, bold linings inside your blazer specially printed for you are bound to make your day a whole lot better. A flash of that print when you take your pen out makes a bold style statement.

Customization and design details make your wardrobe more interesting and very subtly portrays your sense of style. You might think it’s just a little detail and nobody will notice it but that’s not true. These little details do speak volumes.
