The forecast for Spring Summer 2017 promises an array of colours using age- old tie dye techniques like shibori, spiral, stripes and crumple, each technique bringing in a whole lot of interesting and intricate patterns and prints for the coming season.
Although mostly in shades of blue, shibori and other tie dye techniques work with any colour scheme be it bold, bright tones or soft, pastel shades. This trend can already be spotted in runways where designers like Issey Miyake, Julien David and Hermes have all implemented these prints and patterns in their Spring Summer 2017 collection.
These fabrics and patterns can easily be implemented in Indian wear as well. From bandis and kurtas to bandhgalas, these beautiful patterns are surely going to give you something exciting to look forward to next season.
Forget florals this summer, think ink!
